My name is Edwig Vanhassel and I live in Pepingen, Belgium.
Most of the time you can find me in the area around my home.
The countryside with the fields and small woods around my house are the habitats I enjoy photgraphing the most.
Despite of the decline of many species there are still many interesting subjects to take pictures of. Somethimes I sent a picture to acompetition.

Mijn naam is Edwig Vanhassel en ben amateur fotograaf.
Liefst van al vertoef ik in de natuur (in het bos, aan de kust), als het maar rustig is.
Meestal loop ik echter rond in mijn thuisomgeving, het Pajottenland, Zuid-
West Brabant.
Als fotograaf ben ik een opportunist en neem zo veel mogelijk mijn camera mee.
Soms zie ik een bepaald beeld dat mogelijkheden biedt en waar ik dan een foto van neem.
Nadien tracht ik terug te gaan om vanuit een ander standpunt of onder andere lichtomstandigheden een andere foto te nemen.
Soms stuur ik een foto door naar een wedstrijd, deze kan jehierzien.
